Shipping and Returns

Delivery

The products will be shipped to the address specified in the order only upon receipt of full payment of the price and provided it is situated on Italian soil (with the exception of the territories of the Republic of San Marino, Vatican City, Livigno City and Campione d’Italia CIty) or in the following Countries: Germany, Austria, France (with the exception of Corsica), Belgium, Denmark, The Netherlands, England, Ireland and Poland.

The products will be shipped via express courier and the shipping cost will be displayed before the order is dispatched. For orders above Euro 49.00, shipping is free of charge.

In general, orders are shipped within 7 (seven) working days (from Monday to Friday, weekends and holidays not included) from the date of placement. For customised products, delivery times may be longer.

The products will be shipped to the Customer via couriers who work for fully autonomous and independent carriers. The Company will deliver the products to the Customer by no later than 30 (thirty) days from entering into the contract. Without prejudice to cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, the Company will not be held in any way responsible for any delivery delays due to the carriers’ responsibility or for causes not ascribable to the same.

Right of cancellation

The Customer has the right to cancel the contract entered into with the Company, without any penalty and without specifying the reason why, within 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the day on which the products purchased on the Site are delivered. Any product can be returned, provided it is new, unused, complete and in its original packaging, together with the instructions, guarantee booklet, certificates and any accessories, where present.

To exercise the right to cancel the contract, the Customer shall, within the time frame set out in previous Article 8.1, send the Company an explicit declaration of his/her desire to cancel the contract to the e-mail address store@unionlido.com. The Company shall contact the Customer to organise collection of the product. The Customer shall return the products purchased by shipping them back within 14 (fourteen) days after sending the notification of cancellation.

The Customer is obliged to ship the products to be returned at his/her expense using a traceable system (for instance a courier) to the following address: Union Lido, Via Fausta n. 258, I-30013 Cavallino Treporti (VE). The Customer shall be responsible in the event of loss or damage to the products during transportation. 

Following receipt of the products returned, the Company shall promptly check compliance with the terms and conditions of cancellation, notifying the Customer of the outcome via e-mail. If the right of cancellation has been exercised correctly, the Company shall send confirmation of acceptance of the products and reimburse the sums paid for the purchase of such products (including any shipping costs charged in the order) with the same method used for payment, provided the Customer has not expressly agreed otherwise.

The right of cancellation does not apply in those cases envisaged by law, for instance in the case of bespoke products or products customised by the Customer and in the case of gift voucher purchases.

Refunding of sums paid

Whatever the method of payment used by the Customer, the refunding procedure is activated by the Company as quickly as possible and in any case within 14 (fourteen) days from the date on which the Company became aware of the exercising of the right of termination, upon receipt and inspection of the returned goods.

In the event of lack of correspondence between the Customer of the products in the order and the subject who made the payment for the sums due for their purchase, if the right of cancellation is exercised, the Company will refund the sums paid solely to the subject who made the payment. If this is the case, the Company shall in any case be released from responsibility.
